Pelekas is about 11 km from Corfu (Korfu ) town and have been popular with independent travellers for many years, and has something to offer for everyone. Pelekas is a small typical Corfu inland village with narrow streets and traditional churches, close to a series of spectacular beaches on the island's stunning west coast. Pelekas is for those who want to relax among forested hills, visit sandy beaches and admire the famous Pelekas sunset.
Pelekas is also home to tree beautiful beaches with higher standards, and natural beauty. Glyfada, Kontogialos/Yaliskari, and Mirtiotissa.

Evry 30 minutes a bus goes from Pelekas to Glyfada and Kontogialos, and offers FREE transportation to the beaches. Start 10:00 am and finish 22:00 pm.
You can arrive in Pelekas village, by the bus No 11 from the bus station at San Rocco Square, which passes every one hour, or by taxi. ( the journey its about 25 minutes)
