| The Spanish Islands are a holiday paradise, all unique in their way, but collectively they all offer stunning beaches, vibrant festivals, treasured landmarks, sublime scenery and much, much more. The Canary Islands are situated 60 miles of the coast of Morocco. The archipelago is a group of volcanic islands that each has distinctively beautiful landscapes. Their blend of African, Mediterranean and Spanish influences create a wonderfully dynamic culture found only within the lovely Canary Islands. The Canary Islands are not only noted for amazing black and white sand beaches, but also for the blowing Trade Winds that make these islands a haven for wind and watersports. Gran Canaria is one of the seven SpainCanary Islands situated in the Atlantic ocean, just west of Morocco. The southern tip of the island where Tauro is situated is world renowned for its perfect climate, roughly 350 days of sunshine a year and a constant summer temperature. Gran Canaria is the most visited of the Canary Islands, with Las Palmas being the biggest city in the Canaries. Las Palmas offers a great beach and vibrant atmosphere, from the modern shops of the city centre to the Spanish quarter of Barrio Vengueta. The weather is good all year round with little or no rain making it a perfect all year round holiday destination. The hottest months are July and August. It is the ideal location for the perfect sun holiday, relax and enjoy the fabulous beaches on the island.
